I found everyone at Dr. Michel’s busy office extremely cordial, friendly and helpful. I have early prostate cancer and contrary to another Yelper; I too had insurance problems (unknown at the time) and their billing office helped with my biopsy costs. I feel very fortunate that Dr. Michel and the Comprehensive Urology Medical Group were recommended to me by my doctor in 2007 when my PSA started to spike. He and his staff have taken such good care of me that I am healthy and happy in 2013 and very appreciative of their professionalism and skill in getting me from there to here in one piece.
Urological problems are neither easy nor fun and I have been through prostate and bladder issues including elevated PSA, erectile dysfunction, frequent urination, and malignant bladder cancer which was caught just in time and removed by Dr. Michel’s skill and with the assistance of his excellent staff. Through many diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as biopsies, cystoscopies, kidney scans, bladder scans, prostate examinations, MRI’s, sonograms, Uro-dynamics studies, BCG series, catheters, and many others, I have always felt comfortable and safe with Dr. Michel and his staff, and I have always felt that my health was extremely important to them. They recently shared my joy and relief at a prostate biopsy that proved negative after a series of scary PSA readings.
I do not make it a habit of singing the praises of professionals, but the older I get the more I depend on my internist, urologist, dermatologist, allergist, dentist, and other professionals to work with me to manage the medical problems that naturally come along. Good genes and being from hardy Irish/Italian peasant stock are a big help in good health but there is no substitute for medical professionals who are considerate, attentive, professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and insightful.
I am indebted to Dr. Michel and his staff that I approach my 70th birthday in three weeks feeling rather good and without any complaints worth mentioning.

I have been seeing Dr. Sanford for a few years. I had seen many urologists prior to seeing Dr. Sanford, and none of them could give me a definitive answer of what was causing my urologic issues.
A friend recommended Dr. Sanford and I am very glad she did! Dr. Sanford was nice and easy to talk to. He took the time to try to understand what was going on. One of my biggest complaints with other doctors is I felt like they were brushing me off and not listening to me when I told them how much pain I was in. I did not feel that way with Dr. Sanford at all. Dr. Sanford ran some tests and finally figured out what was going on. I am very glad to have found him and recommend him highly

My husband was referred to Dr. Michel by his internist. Dr. Michel is one of the best doctors I have ever met. He not only dealt with my husband amazingly, he did all the appropriate tests, recommended a procedure, did the procedure and gave us the wonderful result in a very efficient, professional and pleasant.
